The Grocery Shopper Add-On ("Add-On") collects and processes the following information:
- Your Instacart account information (email address)
- Your Google account information (email address)
- Data from your Google Sheets™ (shopping lists and order details)
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Create and manage your Instacart orders
- Improve the Add-On's functionality
- Provide customer support
Permissions Required
The Add-On requires the following permissions:
- Access to your Google Sheets™ to read shopping list data
- Access to your Instacart account to create orders
Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information. Your data is:
- Stored securely using Google's infrastructure
- Transmitted using encrypted connections
- Never shared with third parties except as required by law
We do not store any Google™ user data beyond the duration necessary to provide the service. All processing of your Google Sheets™ data (e.g., shopping list items, quantities, and units) occurs in memory and is cleared when the Grocery Shopper add-on is closed or the session ends. We do not persist this data to any database or server.
If you wish to delete your data processed by the add-on, you can do so by:
- Closing the add-on sidebar, which clears all in-memory data.
- Deleting or modifying the relevant data in your Google Sheets™, as the add-on does not retain copies.
- Uninstalling the add-on via the Google Workspace Marketplace™, which removes its access to your Google account.
For any requests related to the deletion of data processed during your use of the add-on, please contact us at subalasllc@gmail.com. We will respond to such requests within a reasonable timeframe and ensure no residual data remains under our control. Note that data shared with Instacart via the Instacart API is subject to Instacart's retention policies, which you can review in the Instacart Privacy Policy.
